We are looking to strengthen the management team at our new Scanning Facility. These roles will report to the Head of Operations and work together with the wider management team to deliver Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence and support our ambitious growth plans.
As a Scanning Centre Manager, along with your counterpart, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Scanning Centre operations, ensuring that script processing is delivered to the correct quality standard in line with agreed budgets and SLAs. You will lead your team through significant volume peaks, in particular, the Summer GCSE and GCE series when we have an additional circa 500 temporary staff working with us. Outside volume series, you will be involved in planning, coordinating and project activities in relation to continuous improvement in delivery and supporting the company strategy and mission and drive for operational excellence.
You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with a good knowledge of large-scale, time-critical, logistically challenging operations. Positive and enthusiastic with high levels of commitment to delivering excellent customer experience coupled with the ability to remain calm under pressure, you will lead your teams to share your passion for delivering results that enable people to achieve their dreams. You will be a confident decision maker, always basing decisions on sound analysis and detailed understanding of the implications, even in cases where you have limited time or information. Your approach to work will be curious with a passion to understand the operation and continually look for ways to do things better, inspiring your teams to follow your lead.
