Interim Management Statement

DRS Data & Research Services plc (the "Group") issues its interim management statement for the period from 1 July 2008 to 19 November 2008 in accordance with the requirements of the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The Group's Interim Report stated that revenue for the second half of 2008 will be marginally up on the corresponding period in 2007. This is still the situation with e-Marker® making a strong contribution to the growth.

The business of Peladon Software Inc. continues to fall short of expectations. It is being closely monitored in view of the £960,000 of related goodwill held on the Group balance sheet.

Work on relocating the production facilities into a single site in Milton Keynes continues. The move is still expected to take place in 2009.

The second half year results are expected to show a similar trading loss to the first half of the year before impairment charge. However, the cash position remains strong and the Group is continuing to invest in product development so as to be well positioned to take advantage of future growth opportunities.
