Graham Hudson is our Global Business Leader for e-Marker®, our electronic examinations solution. Graham has over twenty-five years' experience of implementing and managing large-scale assessments. Out of work, Graham supports a local hospice and restores classic cars.

 

 

 

 

 

Martyn Roan is our Global Business Leader for Education and heads up the Education sales team. With 20 years' data capture experience and 15 years with DRS, Martyn has significantly contributed to DRS’ growth in the education sector. Out of work, Martyn enjoys ocean sailing and golf.

 

 

 

 

 

Sid Spalding is a Senior Account Manager in our education sales team and has been with DRS for 5 years. A qualified engineer, Sid now specializes in examinations and assessment. Out of work, Sid enjoys cycling, paragliding and photography.

 

 

 

 

 

Simon Nakra is a Senior Account Manager in our education sales team. Simon has been with DRS for 5 years and specialises in biometric technology and e-registration solutions. Simon is a qualified sound recording engineer and is interested in the production of popular music.

 

 

 

 

 

Teresa Boakes is one of our Sales Order Processing Administrators.

 

 

 

 

 

Andy Tye is our Global Business Leader for census and is also one of our International Regional Managers. Andy has been with DRS for nearly 20 years, he has electronics and engineering qualifications and is a member of the International Statistics Institute. Out of the office, Andy enjoys swimming and computer games.

 

 

 

 

 

Sam Jones is our Global Business Leader for elections and has been with DRS for 7 years. Sam has an honours degree in economics and leads our expert elections team. Out of work, Sam enjoys winter sports and motorcycling and has undertaken a number of cycle rides for charity.    

 

 

 

 

 

David Carr is our UK Sales Manager for DocXP™, our documents processing solution. With a decade of document imaging experience, David is a member of the Association for Information and Image Management. A keen golfer, he has raised £000s for a children’s hospice by organising corporate golf days. 

 

 

 

 

 

Gary Brighton is our Operations Director and has overall responsibility for the Bureau and Print divisions as well as the Project Office.  

 

 

 

 

 

Colin Cowles is our Bureau Manager and has been with DRS for 4 years. Colin has an MBA and qualifications in project management and coaching. A team player, Colin thrives on a busy operational environment. Out of work he enjoys playing the Saxophone and relaxing with his family. 

 

 

 

 

 

Ed Jenkins is the head of our Project Office.    

 

 

 

 

 

Michael Smethurst is one of our International Regional Managers and has been with DRS for 13 years. Michael specialises in international business development and is a member of the Institute of Export. Out of work, Michael has undertaken a number of long distance cycle rides for charity.

 

 

 

 

 

John Gomersall is one of our International Regional Managers and has been with DRS for 16 years. John has a maths degree, 40 years' relevant experience and is a specialist on scanning solutions for the African continent. Out of work, John enjoys watching sport on TV.

 

 

 

 

 

John Hancock is our Bid Office Manager and holds qualifications in engineering, quality and project management.  John has been with DRS for 14 years and has worked in engineering, sales and exam marking. Out of work John plays electric guitar, enjoys caravanning and has helped charities for children with Leukemia and Diabetes.

 

 

 

 

 

Simon Bishop is our Quality Manger and he has been with DRS for 5 years. Simon has considerable experience of quality assurance, environmental, information security and continuity management practices and processes. Out of work Simon plays the guitar and enjoys gardening.

 

 

 

 

 

Kevin Pooley is our Pre-Sales Specialist and has been with DRS for over 12 years. Kevin is frequently called upon for his in-depth knowledge of DocXP®, DRS scanners and elections. Out of work, Kevin enjoys clay pigeon shooting and photography. 

 

 

 

 

 

Here are 3 members of our 8-strong Engineering team: (from left to right) Phil Kenyon – Engineering Manager, Kashem Abdul and Andy McLean our Senior Customer Support Engineers. The team are fully trained and experienced in the support of DRS hardware & software and provide installation, training and maintenance of our high performance scanning products around the world as well as assistance via the DRS Helpdesk. Out of work the team enjoy body-building, photography, running, cycling and music.

 

 

 

 

 

Natalie Lexton is our Training Group Leader, responsible for training delivery. Natalie is a qualified member of the Institute of IT Training and has been with DRS for 2 years. Out of the office, Natalie enjoys snowboarding and photography.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Human Resources team comprise (left to right) Laura Simpson - HR Administrator, Jules Gane – HR Manager and Sachel Grant – HR Officer. The team are seasoned HR professionals and all are members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Out of work, Sachel plays for the DRS DRagonS netball team, Laura enjoys singing and Jules is a keen gardener.
