DRS is proud to announce that DocXP, its intelligent document and data capture solution, has won a place in the final of the prestigious DM 2007 Awards under the category of ‘Recognition/Data capture product of the year’.

The Document and Content Management industry has changed dramatically in recent years, through new technology, innovation, regulatory changes and acquisition. DRS’ DocXP is a sophisticated, yet easy to use, intelligent data capture and document archive solution that streamlines the document data capture processes. Built on industry leading intelligent character, barcode and mark recognition technologies and techniques, DocXP captures and processes any data from any type of form – whether the data is in pre-defined areas or in different locations on every document.

Sophisticated classification technology separates DocXP from all other competing products. It is able to automatically identify the document type with no pre-configuration, making it one of the best intelligent document and data capture solutions on the market today.

Tony Lee, Managing Director at DRS, said “I am delighted that DocXP has been nominated for this award.”

The winners will be elected by subscribers of Document Manager Magazine. Voting at http://www.dmawards.co.uk closes on 7th October and the winners will be announced at a glitzy awards ceremony on 17th October 2007 in Kensington, London.
