DRS win Chamber of Commerce International Trade Award
DRS is proud to announce it has won the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award under the category of ‘International Trade – Consistent Performance’. The results were announced at the Chamber’s annual, black-tie dinner at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire last night.
Following two stages of judging, DRS was shortlisted as one of several companies in the ‘International Trade – Consistent Performance’ category last month which was sponsored by UK Trade & Investment.
Beating off stiff competition from other international organisations, DRS scooped the award as it was best able to demonstrate achievements in International trade, showing consistent performance over the previous four years.
After accepting the Award from special guest speaker, Lady Betty Boothroyd, on behalf of DRS, International Division Manager, Mike Smethurst commented “This is a great achievement for DRS. After being named runners-up in this category back in 2001 and with continued success in the International market, it is an honour to be recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and UK Trade & Investment.”
