The manual marking process - break the tradition!

19th October 2004

DRS announce its first ever examinations and assessment marking event.

Examination and assessment data capture specialist DRS, will be holding an exclusive event on Tuesday 30th November at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes dedicated to the issues surrounding and streamlining the examinations and assessment marking process. The first of its kind ever to be held in the UK, examination officers are invited to share an insight into best practice from guest speakers including the National Assessment Agency, Welsh Joint Education Committee and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

DRS works in partnership with a number of Professional, Qualification and Awarding Bodies to provide cost-effective solutions in the automation and management of the examination and assessment process and will be on hand to offer guidance and support at its ‘Ask DRS’ clinic.

Professional, Qualification and Awarding Bodies are under increasing pressure to deliver a range of extensive and complex processes accurately and quickly. Students are demanding their results quicker, management are looking for better management information and examiners are keen on finding a more flexible and less time-consuming method of assessment marking. This event will explore these issues and will provide delegates with the opportunity to discuss, share and examine the process of streamlining examination marking with colleagues from other like-minded organisations.
