Lord Lieutenant to present Queen’s Award
Representative of Her Majesty The Queen, the Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, Sir Nigel Mobbs, KStJ, JP, will be presenting DRS Data & Research Services plc the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in an official ceremony on Friday 28th June 2002.
The award ceremony will be held in a marquee at DRS’ Milton Keynes based head office at 3:30pm where champagne and strawberries will be served. Tony Lee, Managing Director of DRS says, "We are thrilled to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. I see this award as recognition of the expertise and commitment over the years from all of the DRS team in developing our products and services and placing the company in its leading global market position".
DRS scooped the award in recognition of exceptional success in enterprise. The award demonstrates DRS’ achievements in substantial and sustained growth and commercial success in overseas trade, particularly in the field of worldwide national electoral registration, examination processing and population census work.
