Student Admissions

The admissions timetable is highly pressured and DRS is skilled in supporting the complexities and logistical problems Local Authorities face in the processing of Common Application Forms for both secondary and primary admissions.

The DRS Common Application Form has been designed to meet the shared needs of Local Authorities throughout the UK to fulfil the requirements of coordinated admissions, but can also be tailored to individual requirements.

Forms can be personalised for your Local Authority, pre-printed using student information and batched by school for ease of processing. Automatic checks are implemented and once the data collection cycle is complete, the data is formatted, validated, records flagged where appropriate and returned for importing into your MIS:

  • Design and print of Local Authority Common Application Forms
  • The ability for parents to download forms on-line for completion
  • Data capture of completed forms, including data matching and validation
  • Output of completed data files in line with government standards

"Manual data punching is a real headache so the use of the DRS Admissions Service plays a crucial part in enabling us to meet the requirements of the coordinated admissions arrangements."
