WEEE - Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations 2006

Any business, such as DRS which manufactures or re-brands electrical and electronic equipment ("EEE") for sale in the EC is responsible under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/3289) ("the Regulations") for financing the collection, treatment, recovery and disposal of WEEE in an environmentally safe manner. In accordance with the Regulations DRS labels EEE for appropriate disposal and has joined a producer-compliance scheme operated by DHL.
