DRS announce sponsored AQA award winner

As the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance’s (AQA) technical partner, DRS is pleased to announce Chesca Veal as the winner of this year’s AQA Mathematics & ICT award. DRS sponsored the award which has recognised Chesca’s outstanding A-level performance having sat her exam at Cirencester College.  The awards took place yesterday at One Great George Street, London.

The awards recognise outstanding performance in A-level examinations and the winners come from over a third of a million AQA entries. The awards are made each year in several categories, each consisting of a number of broadly related subjects. The winners are chosen on a purely statistical basis following an analysis of all the results in each category.

This summer saw AQA use DRS technology to electronically capture the marks from approximately 7.5 million scripts, which is the equivalent of 95 percent of AQA’s GCE and GCSE summer exams.
