Compliance Manager 

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to help us continue with our ambitious agenda in Health and Safety.

We already have good systems and processes in place supported by staff at all levels across the business but with the addition of a brand-new state of the art Bureau to help us process the millions of examination scripts we do each year, this is an exciting time to join the team at DRS!

The Role: 

As well as ensuring effective operation of our health and safety policy and procedures this role is responsible for oversight of health & safety risk management including participation in Risk Management Steering Group (RMSG).

Working alongside the Legal & Systems Compliance Manager the role also supports with identification, assessment, planning, testing and implementation of our Business Continuity plans and in the preservation of confidentiality, availability and integrity of DRS’ information assets and additional security procedures. Although we have current accreditations which include ISO27001, ISO9001 and ISO22301 we want to drive continuous improvement in all these areas.

The Person:

The successful candidate will be extremely well organised, confident and flexible with a strong background in Compliance, ready to hit the ground running! With extensive experience of implementing and supporting Health & Safety, Risk and Management Systems initiatives ideally, they will hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and have experience in a similar role. Knowledge of ISO45001 would be an advantage.

You will be required to provide work references for the last five years and evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period.

Software Developer 

We are currently expanding our Software team and we are eager to recruit an experienced Developer.

The Role: 

As a Developer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, building, and supporting desktop application solutions for our customers in the educational sector. You will be working within a team and engaging cooperatively with peers.

The Person: 
If you can demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Microsoft's .NET Framework, Visual Studio (C#) and SQL Server, with experience of unit testing with NUnit, we would like to hear from you. Knowledge of SSRS and WCF / WPF and experience of working in an Agile environment would also be desirable. As a team player, you will need to be flexible and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
